With the conviction that positive synergies can arise from sharing experiences, the Cemefi organizes events that promote the learning and linking of civil society organizations, researchers, socially responsible companies and government authorities.

In September, the Research Congress on the Third Sector was held and this year had as its theme "Participation, Citizenship and Philanthropy, theoretical debates and experiences in the current context". Taking as headquarters the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM), 77 papers on topics related to civil society were presented by researchers from public and private universities, as well as members of civil organizations.

In October, hosted by our Regional Ally in Jalisco, the Expo Guadalajara Foundation, the Second Forum of Socially Responsible Small and Medium Enterprises was held, attended by 1,500 people, mainly executives of companies that received the Socially Responsible Enterprise Badge. The Forum offered interesting contents to the attendees, and as part of the program, the 38 winning practices of the Recognition of Best Practices of Corporate Social Responsibility 2018, were presented.

In November, the Cemefi Annual Meeting, entitled "Civil Society, Actions that Transform," convened in México City nearly a thousand people, including collaborators of civil organizations, businessmen, academics and public officials. The three days of the event gave the opportunity for intense reflections, as well as a count of the contributions of the social sector in favor of a more inclusive, transparent and supportive México.

With the Annual Meeting began the celebration of the 30 Anniversary of the Mexican Center for Philanthropy in the promotion of a philanthropic culture and the exercise of corporate social responsibility in our country. We took this space to thank the trust and collaboration of our members, for being part of each of the achievements.

Finally, with the support of our members and friends, the construction of the House of Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility, the largest project of the institution in the last five years, will be completed in 2019. If you have not yet made your contribution, we invite you to do it, your participation is essential.
