The main airport of Mexico City is the Benito Juárez International Airport, located in the district of Peñón de losBaños, 5 km from the city centre. You have several options of transportation from the airport to your hotel:
The recommended, and safest, way is to take an authorised taxi. At both terminals, you will see signs pointing to the desks where you pre-pay your fare by zone. They all cost the same, but be sure to specify a sedan, unless there are more than three people with you. Authorized Airport Taxis companies: Yellow Cab Aeropuerto, Transfers-USA, Nueva Imagen, Porto Taxi, Sitio 300, Comfort. If you ask for a sedan, the price shouldn’t be over 200 pesos (12 dollars).
here is also the possibility of reaching out for a transfer. There are plenty of services, from which two are recommended, called Go Shuttle and Mexico Airport Services. The rates vary according to your need being minimum price of 50 dollars. Is a door to door service so it takes you directly to your accommodation.(Go Shuttle – https://goairportshuttle.com/reservations, Mexico Airport Services - http://www.mexico-airport-transfers.com)
