Money

The peso is the official currency of Mexico. Please consult http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/ for current conversion values. Credit card payments made by international participants will be processed in US dollars.


Weather

The average temperature in Mexico City in November is a high of 20C/68F and a low of 8C/46F. Participants are urged to bring an appropriate outer garment as it may be cool indoors as well as out.


Airport Arrival Information

Mexico City is served by the Benito Juárez International Airport, one of the busiest airports in Latin America.


It is served by 27 international and domestic airlines and is main hub for Mexico’s largest airline, Aeromexico. There is direct service from many major cities throughout Europe, Latin America, and North America. Authorized taxis and vans are the primary ground transportation from the airport.


Appropriate Dress for the Conference

Participants are welcome to dress as appropriate and comfortable for them. Native dress is particularly welcome at the all-conference social events.
